What we do with your data
In short: we keep what you write in the application so we can read it and reply. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with advertisers.

Who is responsible
Yachai.town is a learning community run by its moderator. For anything to do with your data, write to info@work.town and a person answers, not a form.
What we keep and why
When you send an application we keep what you wrote: your name, your email, your WhatsApp number and whichever answers you chose to give. Only the name, the email and the number are required; you can leave the rest blank. We use it for one thing: to read your application and decide on it.
We also keep the date you accepted the seven rules and the privacy policy, and which version of the text you accepted. Without that, the consent would be worth nothing.
If you are accepted, that data becomes your member profile. If not, it stays as an application.
Your IP address is not stored
To stop a bot from flooding the form, we count how many attempts come from the same connection. But we do not store your IP: we store an irreversible fingerprint computed with a secret key. That fingerprint cannot be turned back into your address, not even by us. That record of attempts lasts thirty days.
How long
An application that was not accepted is kept for twelve months and then deleted. After that only a minimal trace remains — a fingerprint of your email and the date — so we can apply the three-month wait before applying again.
If you are a member, your data lives as long as your account does. If you leave, after thirty days your name, email, phone and answers are deleted.
The log of what happens on the site — who signed in, what was approved, what was published — is kept for twelve months.
Who else sees it
Applications are read by the moderator. Nobody else has access to the panel.
Three providers touch your data out of technical necessity, and none of them use it for their own ends: Supabase stores the database, Resend sends the emails we write to you, and Vercel serves the pages. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person when you submit the form, without tracking you across sites.
There is no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies. The only cookies we set are your session when you sign in, plus a theme and language preference that stays in your browser.
What you can ask of us
You can ask for a copy of your data, for us to correct it, or to delete it. Write to info@work.town from the address you applied with and we will do it. There is no form and no process: it is an email.
Deleting your data means deleting your application and your account. Whatever you wrote in the WhatsApp groups is not in our hands: that is deleted from WhatsApp.
If this changes
Every version of this text has its date, and the version you accepted is stored with your application. If something changes that affects you, we will write to you.
